I started my CPA firm more than 20 years ago and currently have more than 34 years’ experience in taxation. My business niche is the preparation of federal estate tax returns and NJ estate and NJ inheritance tax returns as well as NY estate returns. My firm also prepares estate and trust accountings both informal (which are distributed to the beneficiaries) and formal accountings (reviewed by the surrogate’s court). I do extensive tax planning with regard to the estate and trust fiduciary income tax returns to reduce, and when possible, eliminate fiduciary taxes.
